Papa John’s Road Trip
The Papa John’s Road Trip site pushes the limits of WordPress post filtering by breaking every piece of the site into city categories. Although it was later removed due to changes in the client’s plans, the site included a dynamically generated map that displayed past and upcoming cities with events and city highlights.
Mom’s Dinner Helper
The Mom’s Dinner Helper site drastically bends the WordPress framework, turning the blogging/CMS platform into a recipe catalogue with user submissions, community features, and promotional point tracking to encourage participation. Several custom plugins were built to seamlessly integrate these features into the user interface. Some feature highlights include recipe submission, categorization, photo uploads, and recipe rating. Several admin pages allow the site moderators to approve recipes and track the redemption of points for prizes.
Kakao Chocolate Box Packaging
Kakao Chocolate is a new company that is striving to melt its way into the mouths of chocolate lovers everywhere. When they approached me, they only had a name and a desire to create delicious chocolates.
After designing the logo, the rest of the design really coalesced. Early versions of the logo incorporated the swirling tree branch shape before I settled on the more realistic branch, so I was eager to incorporate that shape elsewhere. The swirling shape that I used on the packaging really helps unite the branch image with the sensuous swirls of chocolate.
Mobile Behavior
The Mobile Behavior site went through multiple rounds of customized features that once included dynamic case studies and news items. The final iteration boasts a dynamic project gallery preview, custom AJAX bios, and various news feeds.
Inspector Hector
This small site utilizes a variety of AJAX functions to add playfulness and interactivity within a short timeline and a small budget.
Fleishman-Hillard Election Tracker
The Election Tracker is an additional feature of the Public Affairs site that implements custom fields, shortcodes, and post filters to display country-specific election information and posts. It also has a custom chart sidebar element that creates graphs based on custom field values.
DPI Pro
Digital Partners Incorporated features a significant manipulation of the WordPress platform. Various custom fields allow for custom banner ads, news items, and features. The design compliments Apple’s branding with a clean and simple approach.
